The Vicious Circle of Life Just Got More Fun

We want to share our love of playing games with your family, friends and community … You give us a shot at turning our passion into our profession. We hope this is only the beginning. We have a dozen games already in progress.

July 14, 2014 USA – Grab your friends and get in on a different kind of game night. Fast-paced and always different, new critters are coming to town in The Vicious Circle of Life.  Mouse eats seeds. Snake eats mouse. Hawk eats Snake. Life is short in this eat-or-be-eaten world.

This newest creation by Triple S Games is an easy to learn strategy game that will pit players against each other in a “hawk-eats-rabbit” frenzy based on the food chain. Great for older kids and adults, use the cards in your hand to “eat” the cards laid down by your friends and claim victory. This game is about delivering excitement while helping these young, talented game creators to fulfill their dream of publishing their own game with some help from a new Kickstarter crowd sourced funding campaign.

The two words that keep coming back in describing the game are: fun and addictive. Like a good game of chess (but way easier) it will challenge you. No two hands or strategies are alike. Players learn to adapt to the other players’ strategies which keeps life interesting. The creators are also committed to keeping the game culturally diverse so they have deliberately ensured there is no text (just follow the picture cues on the back to play).  The developers wanted to ensure that anyone can play no matter their native language.

As the creators explain, “We want to share our love of playing games with your family, friends and community … You give us a shot at turning our passion into our profession. We hope this is only the beginning. We have a dozen games already in progress.”

Get a copy of this addictive game for yourself. With an attainable target of $5,000 you can get in on the action for just one dollar. Start spreading the word and donate what you can to help bring this game to life.  All players attempt to collect the most cards by trumping fellow competitors each turn and claiming stacks of cards. Great fun for the family as you learn to balance risk, greed, and timing to ‘read’ your opponents and calculate when to strike. Kids and grownups will learn to adjust their strategy to win. Next time you have people over or a family game night – just break out this game.

Unlike some more involved card-based games, this one is easy to figure out and doesn’t take long to play. There are great pledge perks with fun names that suit the cards. All are at comparatively low price points since the creators are driven to meet their minimum goal of $5,000. The GRASSHOPPER special edition pledge for just $40 or more. You’ll get a signed copy of The Vicious Circle along with a ‘thank you’ email or phone call. Shipping is free in the US. Add $40 USD for international shipping. Pledge $150 or more for SNAKE reward and get 1 signed copy of The Vicious Circle and 1 Vicious Circle t-shirts signed by the artist (more options for different shirts will become available if they hit the 2nd stretch goal).

With targeted delivery in November, this would be an awesome and unique present under the tree for Christmas. Get yourself one – and a friend. Even if you can’t donate, help spread the word to everyone in your network. The creators are asking everyone who helps by sharing the links to take advantage of a special copy of their supporter’s packet from the Facebook page. You’ll get digital goodies designed to help you spread the word about this exciting game with your friends and family.
