21st Century Television Interviews Global Thermostat Who has Developed a Workable Solution to the World's CO2 Problems

Answer Lies in Carbon-Negative Technology and the Creation of a Carbon Market

Boca Raton FL, July 9, 2014 -- Dr. Graciela Chichilnisky, CEO of Global Thermostat and author of "Saving Kyoto", discusses her company's efforts to invent a carbon market. Global Thermostat will air Bloomberg Worldwide (as pd. prog) on July 12, 2014.  Check your local listings for airtimes.

According to Chichilnisky, a carbon market provides the perfect solution to the world's CO2 problems by setting limits on emissions. It allows those companies who over-emit to purchase emission rights from those who under-emit. Thus a market and fair price initiative is invented. It sounds surprisingly easy, yet, until the efforts of Dr. Chichilnisky and her team, this solution has never been proposed.

Co-founder and Managing Director of Global Thermostat, Dr. Peter Eisenberger, explains his company's effort to create carbon-negative technology by actually removing CO2 from the atmosphere--a solution that has vast worldwide implications. According to Eisenberger, Global Thermostat's pilot program actually reduces more CO2 than it generates during the production of electricity.

Global Thermostat offers low-cost solutions to carbon-extraction while advancing sustainable use of the Earth's resources--something scientists have been trying for years to develop.

21st Century Television, along with Vice President of Programming, J.L. Haber, are pleased to feature the groundbreaking work of Drs. Chichilnisky and Eisenberger and Global Thermostat.

"The technology we're seeing here is mind-boggling." Stated Haber. "What Drs. Chichilnisky and Eisenberger and their team have created is a solution to a problem that's had an increasingly negative impact on our planet for decades. To see an end in sight to the problem of CO2 and climate change is staggering. We're proud to play a small role in getting the word out."
