The 2013 ADCC Submission World Championships - Justin Rader Brings Home The Bronze Medal In The 66kg Division

The Olympics of Submission Grappling took place this year in Beijing, China. Justin Rader victorious and wins his first ADCC Medal.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA, December 25, 2013,Justin Rader was in prime condition and ready to take on all challengers at this years ADCC Submission World Championships in Beijing, China, and brought home the Bronze Medal in the 66kg Division. Justin Rader, aka Rader, is one of the top lightweight BJJ & Submission Wrestling competitors in America, and was at the top of his game for the ADCC tournament.

Rader has dedicated his life to perfecting his martial arts skills. He started wrestling at the age of 4, and has been training at Lovato’s since the age of 12. During this outing, he defeated current World Champion Augusto Mendes, and rising star Joao Miyao, and cements his place in grappling history. In 2009, he was the No-Gi Brown Belt Champion and 2009 ADCC Submission Wrestling quarterfinalist. Justin is the head instructor at Lovato’s children’s martial arts program.

Rader has built a reputation as a fierce competitor. Without the gi, Rader has had many great performances in professional tournaments, winning the Budweiser Cup Lightweight Pro Division and Grapplers Quest Lightweight Pro division. Justin Rader graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Exercise Science with a Distinction Degree from OU, and is currently working on his Masters in Dietetics from Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Lovato’s School of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is Oklahoma’s only fully accredited Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy, with instructors that are multiple certified USBJJF and IBJJF Black Belts.
