Usability Matters wins Communicator Award

We didn't build the site to win awards. That said, it's really great for our superb design team to get recognition from peers for their work, and be counted among the other prestigious winners.
Canada's premier user experience studio, Usability Matters, has been awarded the Communicator Award by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) for excellence in a self-promotional website.

TORONTO, ON Usability Matters, Canada's premier user experience studio, has been awarded a Communicator Award by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) for excellence in a self-promotional website. Usability Matters rebranded in late 2013, and the new, fully responsive website is the result of that rebrand.

The Communicator Awards have been recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications for over 20 years. They had over 6,000 entries from companies of all shapes and sizes.

“We didn’t build the site to win awards,” says Sarah English, Design Director and Principal at Usability Matters. “That said, it’s really great for our superb design team to get recognition from peers for their work, and be counted among the other prestigious winners.”

AIVA, made up of industry professionals, is committed to embracing the evolving nature of both traditional and digital media. Comprised of more than 600 members from 15 countries, AIVA works to recognize excellence in the Arts.
