Rachel Gilmore Focuses on the Power of Positive Thinking During Mental Health Awareness Month

With a passion for health, fitness, self-enrichment and professional development, I have found that my role as a mentor and entrepreneur has served to help others realize their dreams. I want to encourage others to think about success—and then guide them toward it.
With May serving as the 65th Mental Health Awareness Month, life and business coach Rachel Gilmore highlights the power of positive thought in everyday life.

Mental health is a complicated area of the human experience, but more and more professionals and citizens have come to recognize the importance of staying aware on this subject. This May, groups like NAMI are focusing on aspects of mental health as part of National Mental Health Awareness Month. As part of the observance, many will fight to erase the stigma attached to many mental health conditions or learn more about treatment options. However, for life coach and stress management advocate Rachel Gilmore this event also presents an opportunity to look at how the human mind can impact our everyday experiences.

Specifically, Rachel Gilmore—carrying a background in personal training, nutrition and overall wellness—posits that the power of positive thought can greatly impact the way individuals create success for themselves. Through her own professional journey, Gilmore accredits positive thinking to her own success. She states, “With a passion for health, fitness, self-enrichment and professional development, I have found that my role as a mentor and entrepreneur has served to help others realize their dreams. I want to encourage others to think about success—and then guide them toward it.”

Through her initiatives to promote better health—such as to improve stress management and weight loss efforts—Gilmore has relied on positive reinforcement to help clients achieve their goals. In terms of health, Gilmore remains a strong supporter of the Spontaneous Remission Project—an effort led by medical professionals to accurately chronicle widespread cases where patients have reversed debilitating conditions through the power of thought.

“The power of thought is so incredible that only a portion of this area is understood,” says Rachel Gilmore. “The work surrounding Spontaneous Remission is helping explore the potential our thoughts have to improve our health. I think with further investigation, there will be even greater opportunity for individuals to apply positive thought to other objectives they aim for—such as those in professional development.”

While Gilmore notes that practicing positive thought can take work and regular practice, the effects of approaching this new mindset are very rewarding. She explains, “Through my coaching and focus on positive thought, I have not only helped individuals achieve greater mental wellness, but also realize professional success that they never thought possible.”

Today, Rachel Gilmore continues to expand her efforts to increase success in others through positive thought and dedication through her work with Isagenix. Gilmore is currently welcoming career-minded individuals to join her growing Isagenix team and experience the benefits that this professional support network has to offer.
