Film Success Proves Nobody is Tyring, er, Tiring of Tulsa's Biker Fox

Biker Fox
'Unforgettable' and 'unique' Jeremy Lamberton-directed documentary is now available on VOD

A new documentary is fast becoming a cult classic among the film community.

Biker Fox, from director Jeremy Lamberton, is a unique new-generation doco fixing on real-life underdog Frank P. DeLarzelere III aka Biker Fox, Tulsa, Oklahoma’s misunderstood motivational bicyclist, nature conservationist and muscle car guru.

Much like the character at the center of the film, Biker Fox is slowly but surely winning over it's respective community - in this case, film critics and film lovers. Reviewers say the film's energy is infectious, and the character of Biker Fox is both entrancing and unforgettable.

The Oklahoma Gazette say the the film "is cantankerous and eccentric, and DeLarzelere sometimes resembles an angry raccoon when his temper flares. He also lacks boundaries. All of this is also why people love him and love to hate him."

Village Voice say "The energy is in Lamberton's unwavering engagement with the question of what it means to be a genuine outsider in a place as inhospitable to weirdos as Tulsa,Oklahoma."

Indie Media Mag say "Biker Fox is quite a character and will be stuck in your head once you’ve finished the movie whether you like it or not."

Hollywood bible Variety say the film is "engaging" and that the man it profiles is "unforgettable".

As positive as the critical feedback is, Lamberton and producer Todd Lincoln knew they'd made a film that refused to fit comfortably into one box. Marketing challenges ensued.

"…Most people were like, “I love it, but I don’t really know what it is. If I were to recommend this film to someone, I wouldn’t know how to describe it.” I think that’s one of the great things about this film. Because Biker Fox is so distinct and a one-of-a-kind character, it really allowed us to try to make a new kind of film that fits his personality", Lamberton said in an interview with ShockYa.com.

Despite it's eccentric personality, Lamberton is certain everyone will enjoy Biker Fox's story.

"Biker Fox was intended to be a film for everyone. Because Biker Fox is so distinct it's allowed us to play with the documentary genre. It's like a hybrid of documentary, performance and psychedelia."
