"Wine has always been a large part of the Fogo de Chao culture and dining experience. This is by far the most interesting feature that we have created to express this mindset. We want to celebrate the role that wine plays in a fine dining experience at Fogo de Chao. Hence our giant glass enclosed wine room in conjunction with the oversized wine casks in the Bar area." — Cliff Maillet, Corporate Architect, Fogo de Chão
Producer of high-end decorative wine décor and barrel art introduces products to enrich hospitality dining & drinking experiences at HD Expo trade show in Las Vegas.

Gold Hill, Oregon, May 5, 2014 – eWoodArt.com announces that it now designs and produces custom decorative wood art for the hospitality industry as well as high-end consumers and selected reseller markets. Their focus on decorative and functional barrel, cask & tank art made from retired wine and spirits barrels, or made from scratch to look like the real thing, has been expanded to address the larger scope and scale of the hospitality space.

Per owner Tom Freeman said, “Hospitality designers and owners are always looking for ways to create unique dining & drinking experiences that transport their guests to inviting, comfortable, interesting, emotionally charged places. The atmospheres of old cask and barrel rooms in working wineries, breweries and distilleries are perfect examples. Creating this experience is a hot & growing trend in hospitality design today. Our old and authentic looking large cask heads, as well as the smaller barrel art we make from retired barrels, are the focal points in that atmosphere. Virtually any artwork can be carved and optionally painted on them, from simple text to logos to rich 3d carvings. The beauty, quality and authenticity of these pieces is truly stunning, and the strong visceral appeal they have on people is virtually universal.

"Our barrel and cask heads are incorporated individually or in groups as decorative wall art, as indoor and outdoor signage, and even large wall clocks. They are often grouped in large 'pyramid stacks' to cover a lot of wall space, and employed as table-tops in bars and tasting rooms. When equipped with faucets and back-bar hardware, they are used to serve wine and beer on tap.

"There are many companies making a wide variety of products out of retired barrels, but our focus on high end decorative features for the hospitality industry sets us apart.”
