MIAMI, FL (May 12, 2014) – The inaugural 20-Year Alumni Reunion for D.A.S.H. will take place on Saturday May 24, 2014 from 8PM until midnight.
“It is with great pleasure that we invite our friends and supporters to join us and the Design and Architecture Senior High Alumni Association in celebrating a milestone event for D.A.S.H.,” says Dr. Stacey Mancuso, Principal of D.A.S.H. “For the first time in 20 years, we are convening to commemorate the first graduating classes and highlight the evolution of the school.”
This promises to be a memorable and nostalgic evening bringing together for the first time D.A.S.H. alumni, now professionals in many fields including design, architecture and construction; joined by faculty, the prestigious Business Advisory Board Members, and D.A.S.H. devotees.
The event will be held in the Frank Gehry designed landmark Bacardi Building, which is home to the Young Arts Foundation, located at 2100 Biscayne Blvd.
The evening’s entertainment includes a special video with archived original footage and documentation of the inception of the school through its evolution to present day. There will also be a documentary movie about the impact the school has had on the re-development of the Design District and neighboring Midtown Miami, presented in the new 360-degree projection suite in the Penthouse Level of the Bacardi Building.
A fully catered, premium open bar, hors d' oeuvres and music will be featured throughout the evening.
Ticket prices are $100 per person in advance; $125 at the door.
