Gloucestershire, UK – Felstaf LTD, a computer game start-up based out of Gloucestershire, is looking to make their debut by releasing Dream Song, a puzzle-solving adventure game that gives new meaning to the term “immersive.”
Unlike other computer games where players seek virtual treasures and prizes, Dream Song will incorporate actual prizes in the real world outside of the game. By solving complex puzzles and riddles both inside and outside of the game, Dream Song will allow players to win virtual and real treasures through their own deductive reasoning skills. In the two years following the game’s release, there will be a pair of “master riddles,” each with its own grand prize.
Dream Song uses family-friendly gameplay that gradually evolves and progresses along with the story line. While it is primarily an adventure puzzle game, Dream Song also incorporates gameplay elements not typically seen in that genre, including 3D flight simulation and action combat scenes. Every action and decision within the game unlocks a new element for gamers to explore.
Dream Song will be released in two six-chapter installments. The first part of the game is designed to draw gamers in to the fairytale adventure that takes place within the game. Gamers also have a chance to win monthly prizes through displays of skill and merit. The second part takes the story to a heightened level with gamers tackling increasingly challenging puzzles and adventures. Registered owners of both parts of the game are allowed to download “The Dream Crystal.” This download is crucial in unraveling the mystery of Dream Song.
Gamers that exhibit the ingenuity, intelligence and determination to make their way through the many chapters of the game will be rewarded with the chance to discover the hidden treasure of Dream Song; a beautiful gold chalice. Not a virtual chalice, but an actual, handcrafted ceramic and gold chalice that doubles as a trophy for the most dedicated gamers. One year after Dream Song’s release, a second master riddle will be revealed with a different prize to be discovered.
Dream Song’s plot is an intricate tale that weaves multiple storylines together into one elaborate plot. Throughout the course of the game, players will be introduced to a piper and a princess that long to be together, the princess’s evil uncle who conspires to keep them apart, and the boy and his grandfather from another dimension who are looking to understand how their dreams relate to the fantasy world.
Felstaf is an independent company, and while they have been working on Dream Song for quite some time, they are looking for more funding to help finish the game.
