HOUSTON, TEXAS -- Registration is now open for the 2014 Texas Life Science Forum, the most comprehensive showcase of cutting edge research, innovative life science technology entrepreneurs, and life science companies in the Southwest region. The forum, a joint effort between BioHouston and the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, along with the Houston Area Translational Research Consortium (HATRC) and the Texas Healthcare and BioScience Institute (THBI) will be held Thursday, February 20 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the BioScience Research Collaborative (BRC), 6500 Main Street.
The annual event is designed to support life sciences entrepreneurs, connect entrepreneurs with potential investors and strategic partners, provide an educational vehicle for the life science community and to showcase the vibrancy of the existing life science community in Texas.
More than 500 attendees are expected at the Texas Life Science Forum to hear from industry luminaries, early-stage life science venture capitalists from across the U.S. and major pharma/medtech companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Merck and Pfizer.

Early bird registration is now through January 31 and tickets are $50 for faculty / staff/ students of any academic institution; $125 for BioHouston or Rice Alliance members; and $225 for non-members. Walk-up registration is $395 on the day of the event.
