Craftwerk Reinvents the European Messenger Bag With Their New Espelette Collection

Newport Beach, CA – After successfully raising $15,000+ on Kickstarter for an aluminum iphone case & smart dock, Craftwerk has gone on to expand their business into the fashion accessory industry.

Their new Espelette collection features European Messenger Bags and Sleeves Handcrafted with 100% Premium French Leather and Australian Wool Felt. Functioning as a tasteful laptop and tablet case, the Espelette collection was designed to be compact, versatile and stylish. In addition, the messenger bag features a dual-sided flap, which allows the wearer to employ the traditional leather look for their bag, or the newer Australian Wool Felt design.

Thomas Lin and Garrick Wong are the founders of Craftwerk and are behind the company’s latest Kickstarter campaign.

“Our main designer has been in industrial design for almost 10 years and has multiple red dot design awards. When designing the Espelette collection, he made sure to incorporate an industrial and minimalist design aspect.” – Thomas Lin

So far, the team has managed to raise $2,800+ on Kickstarter in their first few days and are expecting to reach their goal in the coming weeks. With an estimated shipment deadline of September 2014, the Espelette collection serves as a great back to school messenger bag for design-conscious university students or the working professional.
