Antonio Velardo Rejects Efforts By Italian Authorities To Link Him To Illicit Activities

Italian Authorities have embarked on a Vendetta to defame the good name of Antonio Velardo, and that of VFI Overseas Properties.

CALABRIA, ITALY, Italian real-estate developer, Antonio Velardo, has become the target of a Vendetta by Italian Authorities. This appears to be a pure political move in preparation for upcoming elections. The mere thought that Italian Authorities would be investigating Mr. Velardo’s real-estate ventures is on it’s face, absurd. His success in developing high-end properties in Calabria has opened his business and personal life up to public scrutiny for many years.

In fact, his family has been in real-estate development for over 400 years. His life is an open book. He has received awards, and has been interviewed by many International Media Sources. What has Antonio brought to the people that live in the Calabria area? Jobs, Cash Flow, Pristine Real-Estate Projects that preserve the beauty of the area, and all of the perks that come along with growth. What negatives has he caused? The answer is none.

So why is it that Italian Authorities would like to link Antonio Velardo to questionable financial transactions? Everything that has been questioned, has been answered. Allegations have been made in Mr. Velardo’s direction without even giving him the chance to present his side of the story. He has since proven to Investigators that there are no questionable transactions. It is easy for him to substantiate exactly where all of his funds came from, and where they went. In the case of property developments, he has shown that Pre-Sales of units helped fund the future construction of the project. No big mystery there.

Antonio Velardo is the CEO of VFI Overseas Properties, a highly successful property developer.

Such a high degree of success brings scrutiny by both benign and harmful elements of the Italian government. These political people think that just maybe they can uncover something going on in VFI Overseas Properties that would advance their careers. Well, they were wrong, and that is why there are still no charges pending against Mr. Velardo.

Meanwhile, what about the damage to the good name of Antonio Velardo and his business, VFI Properties? After all, the damage is already done. The public accusations are enough to defame him, yet where are the public retractions? They don’t exist because Italian Authorities do not respect businessmen enough to right their wrongs. The message here is: Businessmen planning on doing business in Italy should be wary of Italian Authorities.
