TAMPA, FL - June 20, 2013 - Dobler Consulting (www.doblerconsulting.com), a Tampa, Florida-based provider of a full spectrum of database services, announces the appointment of Allan Roeder to the position of Vice President of Sales.

Allan has successfully served for more than 35 years in executive leadership roles at several high technology and healthcare firms, including Cisco Networks, SAP Sybase, Oracle and Hewlett Packard. At SAP Sybase, he was Vice President of North American Sales for 5 years, where he was responsible for driving license revenue. His past responsibilities have included Sales, Marketing and Finance roles.

He was the Vice President of Sales for Sybase when we worked together previously.  His successes  in our past endeavors together include the negotiation and close of an enterprise site license for Sybase. He is going to be the major force in creating and driving SAP Sybase license revenue for our company with Sybase products.”

Allan will leverage his background and experience by working with SAP Sybase’s current client base to create a business development program for SAP Sybase customers. His key responsibility includes working with SAP to develop new licensing business with SAP Sybase customers. He will be in charge of the development and execution of sales strategies to ensure the channel partner relationship flourishes, while servicing customers to meet their growing SAP Sybase needs. It will be a triple-play win for SAP, Dobler Consulting, and SAP Sybase customers.

Allan has a B.A. in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. He lives with his wife Katina and 1 of their 3 sons in South Carolina.
