This one-of-a-kind coffee shop will be a Christian-run business and operated on Christian ideals.
“I run a coffee shop now at the Inland Vineyard Church,” stated Kevin Ivy, “and God has given me a vision to start a Christian-based coffee shop that will help us support local and global missionary expeditions.” With the funds they raise on Indiegogo, Ivy and his team will open their first Holy Grounds Café Kiosk in Corona. The shop will feature gourmet coffees, excellent smoothies and pastries. Additionally, Holy Grounds will provide a venue for Church bands to come and play. “Our goal is to create a family-friendly Christian environment whose popularity helps us spread the message of Jesus and support his works,” continued Ivy.
The Holy Grounds effort begins with phase one. This phase, which is attempting to raise $60,000 on Indiegogo, will launch the Holy Grounds Café Kiosk. Once completed, Ivy plans to move into phase two and open a larger Holy Grounds Coffee House. The Indiegogo campaign funds will be used to open the Kiosk location, purchase necessary equipment and pay the salaries of the employees for the first three months. It’s an ambitious project and Ivy is confident that he’ll succeed and use his skills and his vision to do God’s work.
