Digitalpublishingblueprintreviews.net has recently launched a complete review and surprising bonus to help individuals get the most out of Ed Dale's newest software. In addition to the website, there are a few social sites focusing on Digital Publishing Blueprint Review information as well.
Apple has introduced a new service called Newsstand which allows publishers to deliver their digital periodicals directly to users of iPhone, iPod, and iPad. It does this through two venues: Newsstand and Store.
Obviously Apple appreciates the importance of the publishing industry's continued ability to provide their products to consumers via their iOS devices, i.e., iPods, iPads and iPhones. Thus the creation of Apple Newsstand.
What exactly is Newsstand? Simply put, it is a folder on your Home Screen developed specifically for storing any publication related apps. It has a similar look to iBooks; however, a user cannot put apps in or remove them manually as in a normal folder.
I guess you could describe it as a “Smart Folder." But, in addition, Apple Newsstand is a store where users can find all publication related apps. It is much easier to find the app you are looking for with Newsstand as opposed to previously when a user had to search through hundreds of apps to find the one he wanted. It should be noted that Newsstand will have no effect on the apps you have and are already using. Newsstand simply is a way to make those apps more accessible by grouping them together in one location.
Apple Newsstand has an exciting and inviting new look. The apps have the appearance of real magazine covers and the Newsstand has the look of a literal newsstand. It is definitely a great idea for those who enjoy getting their magazines and newspapers digitally. Until recently, many have been reluctant to go the digital route when it comes to magazine and newspapers, but more and more are trying it and liking it. Many who had resisted the digital format for books have now accepted it and the same will likely hold true for the publications found in Apple Newsstand.
